  We will define project scope, services, and terms of agreement clearly and in writing to ensure mutual understanding and transparency.
• Legal and Regulatory Compliance
  We will stay informed about and comply with all applicable laws, by-laws, regulations, legislation, and industry codes.
• Continuous Professional Development
  We are dedicated to ongoing learning to enhance our knowledge, skills, and professional growth.
• Fair Competition
  We will compete honestly, without misrepresenting our services or those of others, and will avoid unjust criticism of others’ work.
• Technical Competence
  We will demonstrate expertise in interpreting architectural plans, drawings, and specifications, and adhere to industry standards, best practices, and service/product requirements.
• Responsible Conduct
  We will follow all laws and regulations governing business conduct, avoid exploitation of clients, the Association, or the industry, and refrain from false or misleading advertising.
• Collaboration and Cooperation
  We will work constructively with colleagues, competitors, and the FSPA to advance the industry.
• Adherence to FSPA Rules
  We will fully comply with the rules, procedures, and customs set by the FSPA Executive Committee, and act in a way that upholds the FSPA’s reputation and integrity.

ENFORCEMENT
Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, as determined by the FSPA Executive Committee following an investigation, including but not limited to:

• Warning: A formal warning may be issued to the member.
• Suspension: Membership privileges may be suspended for a specified period.
• Expulsion: Membership may be terminated.

REPORTING VIOLATIONS
Members are encouraged to report any suspected violations of this Code of Conduct to the FSPA governing body or designated authority.

AMENDMENTS
This Code of Conduct may be amended from time to time, and members will be notified of any changes.

• Display your FSPA membership in the following places: your website, business cards, business directories, and your place of business, e.g., a pull-up banner. (Note that use of the official FSPA logo requires prior approval)
• Receive a full-color, A4 printable membership certificate  for individuals or companies, accessible anytime through your online dashboard.
• Verify any FSPA membership online through our tamper-proof authentication system.
• Get listed on the FSPA website with a company profile that includes your contact details, logo, social media links, and website link.
• Ability to host FSPA regional committee meetings and events.
• Free early-bird expo registration for FSPA attendees, plus access to exclusive FSPA events and activations, including interactive displays, live demonstrations, experiential marketing, and sampling or giveaways at the show.
• Opportunities to sponsor exclusive FSPA events, programmes, and conferences.
• Invitations to FSPA member-only Summits and Conferences.
• Exclusive industry research and market reports.
• FSPA members are eligible for a discount on DineSafe™ certification online training.
• FSPA membership provides valuable opportunities to connect with a wide network of industry professionals through exclusive events and online discussions, helping members build strong relationships and stay engaged with the broader food service community.
• Have your say in shaping the future, contributing to the growth, and helping guide the strategic direction of the FSPA.

• Being a member of the Food Service Professionals Association (FSPA) signals to customers that you uphold the highest standards of professionalism, craftsmanship, and fair dealing in the industry. Recognised as the hallmark of credibility, FSPA membership reassures clients that you are committed—often serving as a deciding factor when they choose between service providers.
• FSPA individual certification for professional development launches early 2027. As a current FSPA individual member, you can demonstrate your registered professional status to clients by using our credential behind your name, e.g., John Jackson, RFSD (FSPA). The term "registered" will become deprecated and be replaced by "certified," e.g., John Jackson, CFSD (FSPA), once our professional exams become available. Our current credentials (as of 2024) include:
